Susan co-created and developed the 21-Day Meditation Experience, a web-based platform used by Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey to introduce the benefit of meditation to millions around the world. Her passion for personal development and optimal living has inspired her work to bring accessible, affordable, life-changing experiences to all those seeking greater wellbeing. Susan offers more than 25 years of extensive background creating products and experiences that support a healthy, positive lifestyle. Acting as CEO for JOL Labs, a new division of Joy of Living Media, her focus is on building next generation inspirational content and mind therapies. An avid champion of wellbeing through self-empowerment, Susan considers it her mission to uplift and inspire others to discover their best lives. Inspired by her own long-term struggles with sleep disorder, Susan designed and developed the Tranceform Technique to help people improve their sleep while creating positive life change.

An early pioneer in web based technologies and digital marketing, Kathy Bankerd is an experienced entrepreneur and business leader. Her extensive experience includes the early adoption of digital marketing practices and the concept of community for building brand loyalty to a wide variety of corporate entities where she held several executive leadership roles. Most recently Kathy served as VP of Digital Programs and Business Development for (Chopra Enterprises LLC., a subsidiary of) Deepak Chopra, where she co-created and developed the highly successful “Oprah & Deepak’s 21-Day Meditation Experience” with the OWN network. Kathy serves as President of JOL Labs, overseeing the business, technical and marketing strategies across its platforms. Known as a fearless innovator with a keen yet grounded sense of possibility, Kathy fosters the development of ideas for engaging experiences with leading experts and luminaries in the fields of health and wellbeing, relationships, positive psychology and success.
Director of Content Development + Production
Leanne is a content strategist, creative developer, and producer who is driven when developing products that help others discover greater health and happiness. She has 18 years of experience in creating curriculum and experiences that have changed lives. Her diverse knowledge base includes emotional literacy, leadership development, holistic living, grief, trauma, bereavement, family life, and the healing arts. She has dedicated her professional life to creating inspired communities and resources that provide support, education, and tools for those interested in living with more peace, joy, and prosperity. Leanne creates digital experiences that are evocative and make a difference. She infuses mental health and wellbeing best practices into each product she touches. Leanne served the non-profit sector before recently acting as Director of Content Development and Sr. Editor for Oprah & Deepak’s 21-Day Meditation Experience. In her role since the inception of Tranceform, her contributions include written, spoken, and audio concept development and production.
Consumer Technologies + Product Strategies
Anita Habeich is a marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience in the strategic marketing and product management of consumer electronics products. Currently, Anita is a Partner and Vice President for The Marion Group, a boutique consulting firm that creates and implements effective go-to-market solutions for consumer tech companies. She works closely with senior management to define, structure and implement strategic marketing directives that accelerate getting from product concept to revenue-generating sales channels. Anita also helped lead the team that developed and launched the world’s first Bluetooth headset for mobile phones and in-car speakerphone. Ms. Habeich earned a B.S., with Distinction, Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and a M.B.A in Marketing and Strategic Management from The Wharton School.
Digital Healthcare + Emerging Opportunity Strategies
Joseph Carangelo is a seasoned strategy, marketing, and business development professional with expertise in new and emerging opportunities. His experience base spans such diverse industries as molecular diagnostics, personalized / precision medicine, mobile health, and home health and wellness, having held leadership positions in these roles at Gen-Probe, US Labs, Apria Healthcare, and Great Call Mobile Health. Presently he is providing guidance in strategy and business development to entrepreneurial ventures through his independent consulting practice as well as a Business Mentor role through the Zahn Innovation Center at San Diego State University. Mr. Carangelo has a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
